The Team
Dan Robinson - General ManagerI actually started out in my basement under the name of Computer Coach in 1992. I was tired of getting poor treatment from the various national chains. I thought that as a consumer I knew what customers wanted...the same things I wanted. I created the "human approach" to help my customers make informed decisions about their purchases. I teamed up with Inter Space Computers, another local company with the same ideas and philosophy, and ISC,BMM was born in 1996. We then became ACCESS TECHNOLOGIES in 2004. We wanted a name that represented what we have been providing and what we will continue to provide; access to technology....be it computers, components, networking, web design, upgrades, service or repairs.
Patrick Kelly - Store Manager
Jonathon Poiles - Systems Technician
Jason Ridenour - Systems Engineer-Web Development
I have worked with electronics and computer systems my whole life. In high school I worked on computers as a lab technician. In 2001 I received a degree in Computer Engineering from Louisville Technical Institute. During that time I worked for Dan at Bashford Manor Mall. A couple of years later I decided to go back to school which lead me to Bowling Green KY. Now I have moved back to Louisville and started working here at the shop in August of 2008. I am sill working on a degree in Physics at U of L. My expertise varies from electrical engineering to web application development. I am what is called a computer generalist. My current role at the store has me doing a lot of hardware repairs and web development.
